Tina Knowles may have unintentionally started a fan war! After liking a post from a Janet Jackson fan disapproving of the โRhythm Nationโ singerโs ticket prices, Knowles found herself in some hot water. Hereโs how it all went down...

In a viral screenshot, a Jackson fan shows how much of a price increase it is to participate in a Meet & Greet, jumping from $900 for a VIP ticket to a whopping $2,100. The post was captioned, โWhat a jokeโฆthey add $1000 for a 15 second meet & greet again. No front row for fans unless you want to bend over so they can continue to rake in the cash. You want Beyoncรฉ prices, have real production. Just disgusted.โ

Super sleuths checked the likes on the post and found Bey and Solangeโs mamaโs profile. People called out Knowles for being messy and disrespectful, suggesting that sheโs more active than she should be on social media. (Remember a few months ago when she slammed people for spreading a rumor about her daughter Beyoncรฉย bleaching her skin and wearing too bright of a wig?)
Since the angry post used Beyโs name, itโs likely that she only paid attention to the acknowledgment that the โRenaissanceโ artistโs concerts are top-tier productions, since we all know she loves to hype up her daughters. However, we canโt guarantee that she didnโt mind throwing a subtle bit of shade by liking the post instead of scrolling by.
After hours of fighting between fanbases on the internet, Knowles took to her Instagram to address the controversy, โFirst of all, being on the other side of that I know better than anyone what a great production costs and that itโs expensive. I would never criticize another artist let alone Janet Jackson who is the queen of production and her family, theyโre the First Family of Music.โ
The next part of her apology is a rundown of how she claims she mistakenly liked the post and doesnโt like drama (even though we know sheโs not afraid of a good clapback).
โIf you follow me then you know that I am not involved in the mess,โ she said. โWhat I am guilty of is liking posts, going through when Iโm in a big hurry, and I donโt have time to really read and like things because I trust these are people that I follow. That was a big mistake.โ
Meanwhile, Jackson hasnโt acknowledged the issue at all. Instead, she posted on her Instagram today about her exciting year ahead which seems to be filled with more shows and โsurprises.โ Maybe it was a little bit of shade, who knows?
