While Usher has gone viral before for seductively feeding cherries to random women during various stops of his “Past, Present, Future Tour,” one of his more recent exchanges is getting people up in arms. And we think we know why.

Recently, the “Daddy’s Home” singer was spotted handing out cherries to a popular Instagram and plus-sized OnlyFans model Gracie Bon. The influencer, who boasts nearly 10 million followers on Insta alone, posted the video of her meeting the beloved R&B singer and their quick exchange and photo opp.
However, while this is an aforementioned regular occurrence when it comes to Usher, many users took to the comments on Bon’s post to complain about Bon’s curvaceous shape and attire. Most of their complaints centered around Bon’s alleged overdone Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery and asserted that she shouldn’t associate herself with the plus sized community.
“Your body type is not called plus size...no hate but please don’t manipulate the plus size community,” wrote one user.
“She should refer to herself as Plus BBL,” said another.
“Plus size and surgically enhanced are not the same thing,” another wrote.
“That’s nothing but a whole lot of plastic surgery (and the dr should have his license stripped)...that’s not really plus sized,” wrote another user.
However, surgery accusations aside, further digging on Bon’s page revealed that her shape just might be natural after all. In fact, older posts on her own page show a difference in her size from years ago where it’s clear to see that she lost weight. In one picture from Feb. 2024, she posted a before and after explaining how she used to weigh 300 pounds but decided to lose some weight after being tired of suffering from “knee pain, not being able to breath properly or rejection from my ex-partner at that time.”
Afterwards, she explained that the only surgery she underwent was to get some extra skin removed after dropping those pounds. Posts from 2020 show a clearly plus-sized Bon but a year later, her waist and stomach are noticeably slimmer which prompted people to begin speculating on whether or not she went under the knife.
While she’ll likely never confirm, she previously spoke to TMZ about her shape after a video of hers went viral back in Feb. 2024 where she petitioned airlines to make bigger seats for bigger passengers. Though her comments drew some ire, she told the outlet at the time that she meant it as a joke but added: “It’s also a real problem… Some girls like me are born with this condition.”
And what condition is that, you might ask? Signs point to lipedema, which is defined as a “chronic condition of fat and connective tissue which builds up in your legs, hips, bottom and sometimes arms,” according to National Health Inform. People who suffer from this condition usually display “a small waist, but large hips and thighs,” which is exactly the type of body structure Bon appears to have.
Yet and still, until she comes out and says that’s exactly what she suffers from—people will unfortunately continue to talk.
