The Scandal trailer for season 5 opens with Olivia Pope and President Grant Fitzgerald tossing and turning in the sheets, with Etta James’ “At Last” playing in the background. At last, the trailer suggests, these two long-suffering lovebirds are together, and plan to stay that way. We also see Fitzgerald serve his wife, Mellie, with divorce papers. America will have a nice time discussing the morality of that decision.
In the trailer for How to Get Away With Murder, Annalise Keating’s law students are knee-deep in yet another investigation. This time it’s about who killed Rebecca Sutter (and Keating seemingly pretends that she doesn’t know). Season 2 should be just as layered as season 1.
Get ready, everyone. #TGIT is back with a vengeance. The new seasons for both shows start Sept. 24.
