The mother, Toni Wilson, a former cashier at McDonaldโ€™s, and her partner, Michael Barnes, 19, were arrested after police discovered the cellphone footage while investigating Barnes on a separate criminal charge, the report says. Barnes was also charged with child neglect in the case.

The disturbing video shows Wilsonโ€™s daughter, whose name has not been released because she is a minor, playing with a .40-caliber handgun while sitting on a bed at the coupleโ€™s home in Evansville. While the child waves around the deadly weapon, Barnes can allegedly be heard encouraging the toddler to shoot and say โ€œpow.โ€ The child says โ€œPowโ€ before holding out the gun and pretending to fire.

Wilsonโ€™s daughter is currently in emergency care. She is joined by 1-month-old twinsโ€”whose father is Barnesโ€”who were also living at the home at the time, the Daily Mail writes.
