The video allegedly captures Pamela Michener spewing racial slurs at a neighbor. She retired from a job as a school bus driver in May after 10 years, the report says.

โ€œLet me tell you something, you fat fโ€”king nโ€”ger: Maybe if you disciplined your fโ€”king nโ€”ger, stinky-ass black children, I wouldnโ€™t have to put my two cents in," a voice alleged to be Michenerโ€™s shouts on the video, the report says.

Mya Ronk, Michenerโ€™s neighbor, told the news station that she decided to post the video so people could see who had been working with their children. She apparently got the response she was seeking.

โ€œEveryone was outraged,โ€ Ronk said in an interview with WWSB about the video, which she says has prompted calls to the school district.

When approached at her home by a WWSB reporter, Michener denied that she is racist. She said she had been threatened, but it was unclear by whom and why she chose to use such language.

โ€œFirst of all, Iโ€™m not a racist,โ€ Michener told the reporter. โ€œItโ€™s just the opposite.โ€ She then closed the door after thanking the reporter for her time. Through a closed door, the reporter asked Michener about her language choice.

ย โ€œWell, what do you expect?โ€ She told the reporter. โ€œMy life is threatened, OK? I have people attacking me all the time. What do you expect?โ€

For her part, Ronk says sheโ€™s happy she got the word out.

โ€œThis is who our kids are around,โ€ Ronk told the station. โ€œWe donโ€™t want our kids feeling unsafe.โ€
