Just two days after Allison Holker — widow of the beloved Stephen “tWitch” Boss — revealed shocking details about her late husband, his mother-in-law is speaking out about it.

As we previously told you, Holker and tWitch’s close family and friends are in a feud of sorts thanks to the former’s recently released interview in which she alleged she found a “cornucopia of drugs” in her late husband’s shoeboxes mere hours before his funeral years ago. tWitch died by suicide in December 2022 and there were no drugs or alcohol found in his system according to an official autopsy report.
However, Holker’s revelation has put her in the crosshairs of those who knew and loved tWitch and his own mother, Connie Boss Alexander, is pushing back on it. Posting a statement to her personal Instagram on Thursday, Alexander said:
“Our family is absolutely appalled by the misleading and hurtful claims made about my son, Stephen Boss. The recent publications spreading untruths about Stephen have crossed every line of decency. As his mother, I will not let these accusations go unanswered. We will not stand by while his name and legacy are tarnished. He doesn’t deserve this, and the kids don’t deserve this.”
Alexander continued, “For the last two years, I have remained quiet and away from the public eye to protect my family. My primary focus has been on healing and attempting to remain connected to my grandchildren. But when I read these dreadful claims about my baby, our beloved Stephen, I realized I could not stay silent any longer. Our family will ensure his name and memory are protected, and we are committed to defending his honor.”
Alexander’s mention of silence corroborates earlier statements from one of Holker’s close friends Courtney Platt who took to social media earlier in the week to blast her friend for her “classless” comments about her late husband and said that those who attended tWitch’s funeral had to sign an non-disclosure agreement (NDA). She also alleged Holker’s interview was nothing more than a “smear campaign for a buck.”
While Holker didn’t formally respond to Platt, it’s clear she’s seen all the negative backlash against her comments. In a post to her Instagram stories late on Wednesday, she defended herself and her interview, explaining that her oly intent was to share her and tWitch’s story in the hopes that others who were suffering with mental health issues and drug addiction could get the help the help they need. Whether folks online or tWitch’s family will buy that remains to be seen.
