Now Trump believes, after sneaking language to dismantle Obamacare into his tax-scam bill (the scaling back of single-payer mandates doesn’t disable Obamacare, but let’s not tell him this), that Democrats and Republicans will “come together” to create a new health care plan.

“Based on the fact that the very unfair and unpopular Individual Mandate has been terminated as part of our Tax Cut bill, which essentially Repeals (over time) ObamaCare, the Democrats & Republicans will eventually come together and develop a great new HealthCare plan!” the president wrote on Twitter.

Trump ran on a platform of destroying the first black president’s single biggest accomplishment of creating affordable health care for all by swearing that, if elected, he would eliminate Obamacare his first year in office. After several failed attempts, the president had to resort to sneaking language into his deplorable tax bill to repeal Obamacare’s requirement that people have health insurance or face a fine, Politico reports.

So now Republicans will finally allow Democrats to sit in on the health-care-plan creation process, but who knows if this will actually net anything workable? But it’s Christmastime, so I’m trying to be optimistic.
