Even from a prison cell, Suge Knight, the former CEO of Death Row Records, is shaking the tables once again by revealing his theory regarding the apparent breakdown of Jennifer Lopez’s marriage to Ben Affleck in 2022.

Knight took to his “Collect Calls With Suge Knight” podcast last week to spill the tea on why exactly he thinks Lopez and Affleck might have called it quits. According to the Death Row Records co-founder, the FBI allegedly shared compromising footage of J. Lo taken during the March raids of Diddy’s homes.
As we all remember, Puffy and J. Lo dated from 1999 to 2001, which makes Knight’s claims that much more interesting. He believes after finding the footage, the FBI did Affleck a “solid” by giving him the videos of “J. Lo doing this and J. Lo doing that.” According to Knight, the FBI told the “Justice League” actor, “‘We want to show you some things about your wife.’”
If that wasn’t bad enough, Knight also believes a Lopez lie resulted in then-rapper Shyne taking the fall for Diddy after a 1999 nightclub shooting. Knight said “J. Lo lied and said that the gun was Shyne’s...and sent that man to prison, destroyed his life and she knew it was Puffy’s.” According to Complex, Shyne revealed he was in fact the fall guy for Diddy, but the two have since put their differences aside.
Knight is convinced that once Lopez’s husband became privy to all of this information, he decided to look for an exit plan. “I’m quite sure they headed for divorce because that’s a man [Affleck] who had a good life,” he claimed. “He’s living his life. He got his own team. She [Lopez] done brought all that extra shit out and now...He want out.”
The former CEO’s claims follow recently released footage showing Sean “Diddy” Combs assaulting his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura back in 2016. Ventura filed a lawsuit in 2023 against the hip-hop mogul citing sexual and physical abuse. Although the case has reached a settlement, Diddy is still facing at least nine more lawsuits, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Since Diddy has found himself in extremely muddy waters, Knight has been using his podcast to theorize about who the “Coming Home” rapper really is. Knight warned Diddy that his life was in danger, and now, it seems Diddy could be bringing a lot of people, including J. Lo, down with his sinking ship.
