The musical gods have seen fit to bless the minions with this announcement: Stevie Wonder plans to release two new albums, and he will be performing in concert songs from one of his most acclaimed albums, 1976's Songs in the Key of Life, CBS News reports. The 63-year-old musical genius says the albums will be a reflection on his "children, family, change, growth [and] heartbreaks."

The first album will be When the World Began, a collaboration with producer David Foster, who has worked with everyone from Christina Aguilera to Earth, Wind & Fire.
Wonder plans to infuse elements of hip-hop and symphony arrangements. But fret not, because he hasn't forgotten the promise he made to his mother in 2006 to record a gospel album in her memory.
"I might sing a gospel song in Arabic or do something in Hebrew. I want to mix it up and do it differently than one might imagine," he said. "Obviously the good word at the end of the day, it's not about the religion, it's about the relationship. And I think we all need to check our relationship," CBS News reports.
Wonder will perform Songs in the Key of Life in full live, with the original musicians, for the first time ever on Dec. 21 at the House Full of Toys benefit concert in Los Angeles, Rolling Stone reports.
