Smith has been known for saying ridiculous things and standing on his soapboxโand his latest remarks are no different.

โWeโve had one week, two weeks, three weeks and one day since Joe Biden stepped aside. The only damn place weโve seen Kamala Harris is at pep rallies. Whatโs up? Somebody gotta say something and it canโt just be the conservatives. Right is right,โ Smith said on his podcast this week. His words have garnered praise from conservative talking heads like Charlie Kirk.
Smithโs sentiments echo that of Charlamagne Tha God, who also stated that Harris has โsuper main character energyโ but needs to engage the media the way that her opponent Donald Trump has.
โ[Trumpโs] always calling into conservative talk radio, which is one of my biggest issues with the Democratic Party,โ Charlamagne stated in an interview with ABC News on Sunday (August 11). โThey donโt use the media that supports them the way the right uses the media that supports them.โ
Smith wholeheartedly agrees with that view, though he wrongly accused Harris of โhiding.โ โIโm talking to my sister here. Come on now. Youโre running for the presidency of The United States of America,โ Smith continued. โYou got my vote. Youโre running for the presidency of the United States of America.
โWhat you hiding for? And I mean hiding in plain sight. Somebody gotta say it. Somebody gotta say it...โNow, you canโt be running for the presidency of the United States. Not one single press conference...Thatโs not fair.โ
Though Charlamagne and Smith may have a point, they also have zero experience in running a presidential campaign. Their approach is to pressure Harris into doing what they want. Harris will surely do a sit down interviewโbut on her own accord.
