Somebody Come Get Stephen A. Smith: His Crazy Talk About Kamala Got Conservatives Giddy

The popular sport commentator once again shared his two cents on his podcast.

Professional clown and commentator Stephen A. Smith has found the gaul to address Vice President Kamala Harris and share his thoughts on her lack of televised interviews or press conferences. Smith has been known for saying ridiculous things and standing on his soapboxโ€”and his latest remarks are no different.

โ€œWeโ€™ve had one week, two weeks, three weeks and one day since Joe Biden stepped aside. The only damn place weโ€™ve seen Kamala Harris is at pep rallies. Whatโ€™s up? Somebody gotta say something and it canโ€™t just be the conservatives. Right is right,โ€ Smith said on his podcast this week. His words have garnered praise from conservative talking heads like Charlie Kirk.

Smithโ€™s sentiments echo that of Charlamagne Tha God, who also stated that Harris has โ€œsuper main character energyโ€ but needs to engage the media the way that her opponent Donald Trump has.

โ€œ[Trumpโ€™s] always calling into conservative talk radio, which is one of my biggest issues with the Democratic Party,โ€ Charlamagne stated in an interview with ABC News on Sunday (August 11). โ€œThey donโ€™t use the media that supports them the way the right uses the media that supports them.โ€

Smith wholeheartedly agrees with that view, though he wrongly accused Harris of โ€œhiding.โ€ โ€œIโ€™m talking to my sister here. Come on now. Youโ€™re running for the presidency of The United States of America,โ€ Smith continued. โ€œYou got my vote. Youโ€™re running for the presidency of the United States of America.

โ€œWhat you hiding for? And I mean hiding in plain sight. Somebody gotta say it. Somebody gotta say it...โ€œNow, you canโ€™t be running for the presidency of the United States. Not one single press conference...Thatโ€™s not fair.โ€

Though Charlamagne and Smith may have a point, they also have zero experience in running a presidential campaign. Their approach is to pressure Harris into doing what they want. Harris will surely do a sit down interviewโ€”but on her own accord.
