Shannon ‘Shay Shay’ Sharpe Goes After Kai Cenat in a Hilarious Rant, But It’s All in Good Fun

The popular streamer can be seen raging at Sharpe during an episode of 'Nightcap' with Chad Ochocinco.

Shannon Sharpe has been enjoying immense success since leaving โ€œUndisputedโ€ with Skip Bayless. The NFL Hall of Famer has not only been a mainstay on popular ESPN shows like โ€œFirst Take,โ€ but heโ€™s also taken his brand to another level with his โ€œClub Shay Shayโ€ and โ€œNightcapโ€ podcasts.

Now thanks to his comments about popular streamer Kai Cenat, Sharpe has another viral moment under his belt.

If you didnโ€™t watch NBA All-Star Weekend (which I donโ€™t blame you), Cenat was one of its most notable guests as he participated in the All-Star Celebrity game and was asked to assist Jaylen Brown during the dunk contest.

How do I say this respectfully? Brownโ€™s performance was less than average, as he opted to not only jump over Cenat but to do it while the streamer was sitting down.

Why is that a problem? Because he happens to be around the same height as Katt Williams (5โ€™5โ€). Not exactly the most impressive thing an NBA player could do during the dunk contest, according to Shay Shay.

Naturally, the NBA community was disappointed with the dunk and Sharpe was among the loudest critics, saying, โ€œJaylen Brown jumped over Kai Cenat in a seat. What am I supposed to do with that Stephen A? They shouldโ€™ve gave him a 2. Across the board! The man is already three feet tall, put him in a chair and heโ€™s 1โ€™5โ€.โ€

Well, it seems that Cenat got wind of Sharpeโ€™s statements and reacted to them during a stream on Monday, and as you can see, he wasnโ€™t happy.

Cenat only took a step further by appearing on Sharpeโ€™s show, โ€œNightcapโ€ and confronted the Denver Broncos legend, claiming that heโ€™s 5โ€™9โ€ (which nobody believes).

The popular streamer asked, โ€œHold on. Whyโ€™d you call me three-feet?โ€ In response, Shape explained that he was exaggerating his height and used it as a bigger criticism of Brown and the dunk contest as a whole.

Cenat then clarified, โ€œI thought I was gonna be standing up on a chair but he told me to sit down. I was confused. I didnโ€™t know what to do. ... JB my mans, my boy. But goddamn, JB. You should have had me standing on that motherf***er.โ€

Thankfully, the interaction wall was done in good fun and did not lead to a beef like the one Sharpe had with Mike Epps.
