TMZ reports that someone on the set of the R-rated film, Good Boys, produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, used makeup to darken up the skin of a child actorโ€™s stand-in for โ€œlighting purposes.โ€

The outlet says that child actor Keith L. Williamsโ€™ stand-in was on set last week in Vancouver wearing dark-brown makeup on his face, an afro wig on his head and a fat suit on his body to look more like the 11-year-old actor.

Sure, the stand-in was another (lighter-skinned) black child, but itโ€™s still no bueno.

Sources tell TMZ that at least one person on set was not feeling that bullshit and filed a grievance with the studio.

Actor Common wasnโ€™t a fan either, saying that blackface was โ€œnever OK,โ€ and in fact, he โ€œainโ€™t with it.โ€ Ever. โ€œI donโ€™t think thatโ€™s ever appropriate, to be honest,โ€ the rapper-turned-actor said.

The Oscar winner suggested that if the complexions donโ€™t match, they need โ€œto just leave it alone.

โ€œOr pick a stand-in thatโ€™s the same complexion as the actor,โ€ he added, โ€œif itโ€™s that serious where with the lighting you have to match the exact same complexion.

โ€œCome on itโ€™s 2018, when was [blackface] ever acceptable? I ainโ€™t with it.โ€
