It seems 2023 couldnโt end without the news of yet another celebrity uncoupling. This weekโs target? Tracey Edmonds and Deion โCoach Primeโ Sanders.

Their split was made public via a joint announcement to Instagram posted by Edmonds late Sunday night. The two met in 2012 in what initially started off as just a work relationship, as Edmonds worked with Sanders to produce his popular 2014 reality show, Deionโs Family Playbook. They would start dating shortly after, ultimately leading up to their engagement in 2019.
โTo EVERYONE who has been there for us, supported us, and shown us love...We have mutually decided that it is best for us to move forward in life AS FRIENDS and have made this decision with love in our hearts, respect for each other, and appreciation for the time weโve shared together,โ the statement read. โPlease keep us in your prayers as we go through this transition. Thank you for being there for us ALL THESE YEARS! We love you and appreciate you SO MUCH!โ
Coach Prime followed up on the post in the comments section, further adding: โLove u Tracey and Youโve been a true blessing to me. I appreciate the times weโve shared and they laughs weโve had. You are an amazing woman and a tremendous mother. God bless u with every endeavor and every step u take. You are HER. Tracey-Mack !!!โ
While the news of an uncoupling is hardly ever positive, Coach Prime seemed in good spirits during Monday morningโs episode of Good Morning America, telling George Stephanopoulos that fanโs can expect a โrollercoasterโ in the upcoming season two of his Prime Video docuseries, aptly titled Coach Prime.
โYou get to see the inside of the rollercoaster! We were up, we were down, we were in, we were out. But we never lost hope whatsoever,โ he explained, later adding that heโs the โhappiest man in the worldโ because heโs surrounded by his children and family and constantly watching them succeed.
