According to the New York Post, the 44-year-old trumpeter was caught buying four glassines of cocaine inside a parked car on April 5 in the West Village section of Manhattan in New York City. After Hargroveโ€™s arrest, cops found money on him that had cocaine residue on it, the newspaper reported.

If Hargrove completes his community service, the misdemeanor will be reduced to a violation and heโ€™ll have no criminal record.

Ross gave a few words of encouragement to Hargrove.

โ€œI hope we can be confident about the fact we wonโ€™t see you in this building again,โ€ he said to Hargrove, who looked dapper in a bowtie, navy jacket and crisp linen pants. โ€œThere are other places people want to see you and people whoโ€™ve wanted to see you for a very long timeโ€”just not here.โ€
