Rihanna Reminds Us Who She Is By Hilariously Dragging Online Troll Over New Music Comments

The 'Pour It Up' singer hasn't released an album since 2016.

New year, same olโ€™ Rihanna. The queen of social media clapbacks is making sure people know she still reigns supreme thanks to a hilarious exchange with an online troll.

The conversation took place in the comment section under a video she posted of herself and friends on New Yearโ€™s Eve. As they counted down the clock and celebrated, Rihanna subsequently yelled at the camera: โ€œYโ€™all I didnโ€™t drink all year, I didnโ€™t drink all year!โ€

As the clip began to circulate online, many folks went under the post to wish the โ€œDiamondsโ€ singer a happy New Year while others took the opportunity to express their desire for new music after all this time. And while that sentiment was prevalent throughout the comments, one userโ€™s words stood out from among the rest and prompted the Barbadian bad gal to respond.

โ€œWe want an album forehead,โ€ the user wrote while making fun of Rihโ€™s head.

Once the Grammy-nominated singer saw it, she replied in kind: โ€œListen Lorenzo! You ainโ€™t cute enough to be calling me by my black name you dizzy fuck!โ€

As we (and the rest of the world) have told you, itโ€™s been fourscore and seven hundred nearly nine years since the โ€œLoveee Songโ€ singer has blessed her fans with a new project. The closest we got was โ€œLift Me Upโ€ back in 2022, which was created for the โ€œBlack Panther: Wakanda Foreverโ€ soundtrack and earned a subsequent Oscar nomination for Best Original Song.

But outside of that, Rihโ€™s been spending her time raising her two sons and building her growing beauty and lifestyle brand (Fenty Hair, anyone?) And while sheโ€™s hinted that sheโ€™s been in the studio and that sheโ€™s been sitting on songs and trying to work things out for a new albumโ€”weโ€™d all be smart not to get our hopes up in this new year.

Rihanna moves on Rihannaโ€™s time, so weโ€™re all just going to have to continue to be patient.
