Some fancy-schmancy federal law-enforcement agency called the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, in addition to local authorities, showed up at Rick Ross' house Wednesday morning to arrest him and his bodyguard, Nadrian Lateef James, on assault and kidnapping charges, the Atlanta-Journal Constitution reports. 

Ross and James allegedly beat up a man earlier this month who was reportedly working on Ross' Georgia home. According to warrants seen by WSB-TV 2 News, Ross and James hit the man with a handgun, which chipped two of his teeth and caused neck and jaw injuries. 

Ross and James were apprehended "without any incident," Allen Stevens, a spokesman from the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, said. Stevens also confirmed that both Ross and James were denied bond and will have to stay in jail for a week before they appear before a judge July 1.
