Ray J is finally opening up about the near-fight that transpired between him and three of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sons, Justin, Quincy and Christian.

As we previously told you, the four men were involved in a “heated face-off” after a Halloween party in Los Angeles over the weekend that took the intervention of Chris Brown (yeah, we were shocked too) to break things up.
While all the men have stayed silent on the matter, it looks like Ray J is ready to speak his peace on what happened and he’s clapping back at the famous brothers for taking it too far.
Speaking in an interview with Wack 100, Ray J recalled that he was essentially ambushed while trying to leave the function and that there were about eight people all around him, including the three brothers.
“I tried to talk some sense into what happened but luckily, the homie Chris [Brown] was there,” he said.
Later, when the “One Wish” singer popped up on Nicki Minaj’s Instagram Live on Wednesday, he gave even more insight into that telling her that though they didn’t physically fight — he had to stand his ground during the altercation as this wasn’t the first time one of Diddy’s sons rolled up on him.
“No, we didn’t have a fight. We had a big argument right outside the club. This time, I think I got loud and got aggressive. But it was the third time this happened so I felt like I needed to stand up for myself,” he explained before later adding, “Even though I was talking shit and we were having a lot of crazy words, I was walking that way to avoid the issue. So that’s what happened and it’s unfortunate.”
Ray J then went on to detail how Justin tried to engage with him at a hotel over his comments about Diddy’s current legal situation but that nothing happened.
“Justin said, ‘Let’s take a fade. I don’t like what you’re talking about with my pops.’ They tried to [be] cocky [to] me. It was in another dimension […] I feel sad that violence is at the forefront of this, and we shouldn’t do that,” he explained.
However, it seems like the matter has now been resolved as the “Last Wish” singer shared that he and the brothers had a 35-minute-long phone call and were able to come to some sort of peaceful place.
