Fresh from our "Please read the memo" file, President Barack Obama is a Christian. After addressing several issues, including the Republican economic agenda, at a "backyard chat," he also answered a number of questions, one of which was why he is a Christian. In response, Obama stated, "I am a Christian by choice." He told the woman that he was not raised in the church but came to Christianity because it "spoke to him" in terms of the kind of life he wanted to lead. He also stated that his public service is an effort to express his Christian faith. I don't know about you, but that sounds like a Christian to me. Earth to America: Obama is a Christian, so please stop asking him about it.
