Terry Jones, pastor of the Dove World Outreach Center, called off his Quran burning today, claiming he had struck a deal that will move a controversial "mosque" away from a site near the location of the 9/11 terror attacks. The Muslim cleric planning to build the Islamic community center quickly denied Jones' claim to ABC News, saying that he has not agreed to move his project. It seems that Jones has come to his senses on the one hand, but he's still senseless on the other. Even though calling off the Quran burning is a good thing, the damage has already been done.
