Another male rapper has pathetically decided to come for Megan Thee Stallion on wax—only this time it’s her ex, Pardi Fontaine. Not only is Fontaine throwing a temper tantrum on the track, “Thee Person,” he also is reminding the public of the simple fact that he can’t rap worth a damn.

Earlier this month, Meg released her most vulnerable track to date with “Cobra.” On the song, she addresses being depressed, having suicidal ideation and drinking to numb her pain. In addition, she stated that she was cheated on by one of her romantic partners. Though Megan never mentioned the person’s name, many assumed that she was referring to Pardi.
Instead of going to his diary, a friend, or even a therapist, Fontaine went straight to the studio in a sad attempt to humiliate his ex. “Thee Person” starts with him saying: “I’d like to apologize for no longer keeping up with your lies or supporting your habits to tell half-truths/I hope this message reaches you well/Hope you get the help you need.”
Ain’t that the pot calling the kettle black?
On the song, which is almost five minutes long, he trashes Meg after sharing that he planned on proposing to her:
“This the girl that I’m trying to propose to/Ask Greg Una I picked out a ring then you lied to my face/Went on TV and then lied to Gayle King/You know the devil was a serpent/For some streams and views girl I hope it was worth it/This ain’t for Megan Thee Stallion, this for Megan Thee Person.”
Fontaine also claims that the only reason he cheated on Meg is because she did it first. “How many times did I catch you texting them niggas?/You did you first I just did me bigger/You flew out the country ain’t called for days in my mind we had parted ways.”
Pardi may have tried to embarrass Meg, but the only person he truly embarrassed is himself. Considering how bad the song is overall, it’s no wonder his career is a flop.
