But we will get to that. After Williams dropped Humanrace, his skincare line in 2020, fans finally felt that he shared the key to the fountain of youth. But even after that, social media was still caught in a frenzy with comments praising and wondering about the secret to his youthful glow.
“No like as a society we need to start asking Pharrell some questions. 48-years-old??? It’s time to investigate,” another user on X stated.
Some even joked that although he keeps having birthdays, he still doesn’t age regardless of the passage of time.
“Happy birthday to @Pharrell! He turns 47 but still looks 25,” Essence tweeted back in 2020.
For years, all people could do was guess about his fountain of youth, but the rapper and fashion icon finally revealed how he retains his ageless look. The secret comes down to something surprisingly simple: exfoliation.
Williams swears by regularly exfoliating his skin to remove dead skin cells, according to an interview with People Magazine.
He does have a more elaborate routine that he says you can retrieve online, but additionally, it’s allowing your inner child to shine.
“It’s literally in here. That inner child, don’t ever silence it. Don’t ever [go], ‘Oh, I can’t do this anymore.’ No. That’s why you should absolutely do It right now,’’ he said. The people who want to put you in a box? They tried to do that to me too, and here we are.”
