The Associated Press is reporting that Arthur Morgan III has been arrested for allegedly murdering his 2-year-old daughter, Tierra. Morgan is suspected of tossing his daughter into a creek while she was still strapped into her car seat during a court-approved visit. Morgan fled the state after the incident and was captured without incident late Tuesday afternoon at a home in San Diego, Calif.

"The girl’s mother, Imani Benton, called police after Morgan failed to return the child on Nov. 21. She had spent several hours speaking with investigators on Tuesday and learned of Morgan’s arrest when she arrived at a friend’s home Tuesday night and heard people cheering."
Thank goodness that this alleged sociopath has been captured. What father tosses his 2-year-old into a creek while strapped into a car seat? As more details unfold, we suspect that information will surface about Morgan that should have served as a red flag for all involved, including the court system. Unfortunately, it's too late for little Tierra.
