For context, the โHissโ rapper has been very outspoken about the online harassment and bullying sheโs experienced in the years following the 2020 shooting by Tory Lanez in which she was injured in the foot. Despite Lanezโs conviction in 2022, multiple bloggers and internet personalities pushed out false narratives and alternative facts about what really happened to taint public opinion about the โMamushiโ rapper and tried to cause her more problems.
Now, it appears sheโs taking one of those bloggers to court over their actions as noted by a new lawsuit filed on Wednesday. Per court documents obtained by People, Thee Stallion (legally Megan Pete) is suing blogger Milagro Gramz (legally Milagro Elizabeth Cooper) for alleged harassment and โchurning out falsehoodsโ related to the aforementioned shooting. In the suit, lawyers for the โBodyโ rapper allege that Gramz โacts as a paid surrogateโ for Lanez (legally Daystar Peterson) and spreads lies on his behalf.
The suit also claims that Gramz shared a โdeepfake pornographic videoโ of her to X/Twitter, accused her of having a โsevere drinking problem,โ questioned her โmental statusโ and labeled her both an โangry Black womanโ and a โlying ass hoe.โ
As it relates to the 2020 shooting specifically, Thee Stallions legal team also alleged that Gramz โfalsely claimed that the firearm Mr. Peterson used to shoot Ms. Pete was not produced during the Trial because it was missing.โ The claim is false as the gun is still in the custody the Los Angeles Police Department, per the suit.
In a statement released on Tuesday, about the suit, the โBigger in Texasโ rapper said:
โItโs time to hold bloggers accountable for years of harassment, cyberbullying and the publication of misinformation about my personal and professional life. Iโve endured countless attacked on my character based on false narratives on social media, bloggers misrepresenting themselves as journalists.โ
She concluded by saying that the behavior is โunacceptableโ and assured folks that there would be consequences and repercussions for โrecklessly posting lues and defamatory falsehoods.โ
Seeing as how Thee Stallion was vindicated in the 2020 trial against Lanez, it stands to reason that sheโll wind up with another legal โWโ in the near future thanks to this suit. This news comes as the โRock Steadyโ rapper gears up to release her documentary, โMegan Thee Stallion: In Her Own Words,โ on Prime Video on Halloween.
