โ€œI donโ€™t know much about the details of the case, other than the fact that I really feel terrible for her family,โ€ Sapp, pastor of Lighthouse Full Life Center Church in Grand Rapids, told the news station.

The comment comes several months after Sapp was thrust into controversy surrounding the disappearance of the 30-year-old Michigan doctor. Patrickโ€™s body was found in early April in a lake in Porter, Ind., less than a mile from where her car had been found on the side of Interstate 94. Two autopsies concluded that she had drowned.

โ€œI can't even imagine my daughter ending up in that type of situation,โ€ Sapp told the news station

ABC 57 obtained a copy of a restraining order Sapp filed against Patrick in September, about two months before she disappeared. Sapp says in the documents that Patrick contacted him more than 400 times and even showed up at his home.

Police said Sapp was not a suspect in Patrickโ€™s disappearance.

Sapp said he sends his condolences to the Patrick family.

Patrick was buried April 25 in Orlando, Fla., the report says.
