Popular professor and television news commentator Dr. Marc Lamont Hill is keeping mum about a federal civil rights lawsuit he filed recently against a Philadelphia police officer. In the suit, Hill claims that during a routine traffic stop, Officer Richard Decoatesworth, who is not black, dragged him out of his vehicle, went through his pockets, slammed him against his car and threatened to take him to jail. Wait — that sounds pretty much like a routine traffic stop to us.
