When you think you’ve seen it all when it comes to the “Ice Bucket Challenges,” someone finds another asinine way to raise awareness for ALS, otherwise known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. I’m sure we’ve all laughed at a few of them. There was the one that showed a woman’s wig flying off her head, then another challenge where Nick Cannon did his “naked.” But it’s all fun and games until someone involves an unsuspecting baby.

This is where the line should be drawn. For the life of me, I can’t understand why this man felt the need to involve his grandchild. Granted the poster of the Facebook video said the water was warm, but this was just too much. Does the child even realize what an “Ice Bucket Challenge” is? Does the child even have any idea (along with so many other people) what ALS consists of?
I’ll call it as I see it: Irresponsible grandparenting.
A child does not need to have a bucket of water poured on her or his head. Ever. After seeing this video, I’ve had just about enough of these challenges.
