Advertisers are continuing to pull their ads from Rush Limbaugh's radio show after his derogatory comments last week directed at Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke, according to the Associated Press.

One of the most popular radio shows in the country on Monday lost advertisers such as AOL and Tax Resolution Services. Twenty advertisers have now left the show since Limbaugh called Fluke, who testified in support of insurance coverage of contraception, a "slut" and a "prostitute," according to the Daily News.
Limbaugh apologized over the weekend for his attack on Fluke, but the apology seems not to have done enough for the many advertisers his show banks on to survive. He joked on Monday about getting a busy signal when he called the station because of the number of advertisers dropping the show.
KPUA, an AM station in Hilo, Hawaii, said it is dropping Limbaugh's show immediately. "We are strong believers in the First Amendment and have recognized Mr. Limbaugh's right to express opinions that often times differ from our own, but it has never been our goal to allow our station to be used for personal attacks and intolerance," station owner New West told the Associated Press.
Many are calling for Limbaugh to be canned. But even if the station does drop him, another station will eventually pick him up. The same thing happened to Don Imus, and while his comments may have been less harmful in some eyes than Limbaugh's, he still found other options.
