On Friday, Lil Wayne was hospitalized in Louisiana after suffering a possible seizure while flying from Texas to Los Angeles. TMZ reports that the MC began convulsing on his flight, forcing the plane to ground before its destination, after which Wayne was rushed to the hospital. The New Orleans native was released on Saturday, and according to a press release obtained by Billboard magazine, the "Lollipop" artist's management team says he was actually suffering from something much less serious.

"Lil Wayne was successfully released from the hospital after being treated for a severe migraine and dehydration. He is at home on doctor mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love," Weezy's management said via press statement.
This hospitalization comes just after Lil Wayne's plane made another emergency landing in Texas in similar circumstances.
