Weezy let that and other bizarre statements fly during an interview Tuesday with the hosts of ESPN's Undisputed, leaving us to wonder whether or not he's had one too many sips of lean. 

Joy Taylor asked Wayne what he thought about Colin Kaepernick's protests, and he replied that he didn't even understand what Kaepernick is protesting. He said that someone had to explain it to him because he's "not into it enough."

As for the Black Lives Matter movement, Wayne said, "That whole wave just went right by me, way too fast to even give an opinion, so I was just like, ‘Oh, OK, that’s what’s happening.’"

Undisputed's Skip Bayless pressed the artist and asked him where he thinks we are with race relations in the United States.

Wayne said that he has been nothing but blessed in his 33 years and has never experienced racism.

"And I don’t know if it’s because of my blessings, I don’t know, but it is my reality," Wayne said.  "So I’d have to say that not only had I thought it was over, I believe it’s over, but obviously it isn’t."

Fumbling his way through the eight-minute segment, Wayne basically said that he doesn't pay attention to what is going on with anyone in the world except his four children. That's all that matters to him.

Bayless reminded Wayne of an experience they had together after Wayne did a concert in Westchester County in New York. Wayne had told Bayless after the show that the only black face he saw in the audience was that of his makeup artist, who was in the front row.

"A lot of white kids like rap, right? Explain that," Bayless said. "What message does that send to you? What's the greater picture of it?"

"Well, I don’t want to be bashed, cuz I don’t want to sound like I’m on the wrong—if there’s a side," Wayne said. "But to me, I thought that was clearly a message that there’s no such thing as racism."
