Sears and Kmart followed suit after controversy swirling around the wigs, pun intended, went into overdrive. The wig sparked an uproar on Kohl's Facebook page Monday. Customers were offended by the name and shocked that Kohl's would carry an item described that way. We won't mention the white model rocking the wig in the product profile photo. "We are both embarrassed and apologize for the offensive nature of the merchandise description," said Kohl's senior vice president of public relations, Vicki Shamion. They ought to be embarrassed that it took protests on Facebook for them to do the right thing: dump the wig. We've said it before and we'll say it again โ€” common sense isn't always common.
