While Diddy has mostly been evoked as a source of comedy and entertainment for Williams, thereโs a real reason the veteran comedian has been taking so many jabs at him over the last 10 months.
If you recall, during his viral interview with Shannon Sharpe on the โClub Shay Shayโ podcast, Williams seemed to predict some of Diddyโs future allegations, simply saying, โP. Diddy be wanting to partyโฆand you got to tell him no!โ Now, the disgraced music mogul sits in a Brooklyn jail and new allegations seem to pop up every day about his alleged โfreak offs.โ
In his recent interview with GQ, Williams shares where his disdain for Puff originated from, saying, โSo when I was a young man, Tupac was my favorite artist. I loved Tupac. And I felt like we were kindred spirits. So if I hear you responsible for knocking my n***a offโฆโ
While itโs never been confirmed that Diddy was involved in the fatal shooting of the West Coast legend, fans continue to theorize that he paid someone off to have the job done.
In July, it was reported that Diddy was mentioned multiple times in court documents for Duane Davis, the man suspected of murdering Shakur in Las Vegas in 1996.
He later added, โI donโt give a f**k what job I end up being in, I donโt care how things go, if I can get a way to get you, thatโs what Iโm all about. I just donโt like you walking around scot-free. โCause you a demon, and I know demons are powerful, but I know why theyโre powerfulโฆ. Itโs cold spiritual warfare going on out here in the real world. And part of my job is to not lose focus on that.โ
Earlier this week, Williams was involved in another controversial interview at Vulture Festival, reflecting on the impact heโs had on the culture this year, and dropping more humorous bombshells about Diddy, Stephen Curry, and many other topics.
