U.S. District Judge James Moody declared a mistrial after the 12-person jury sent him a note for the second time, stating that they could not agree on a verdict. They had been deliberating since last Thursday after the conclusion of the four-day trial. The four-time Grammy nominee claimed he was just trying to impress the man, who turned out to be an undercover police officer, because he thought he had recording-industry connections. Uh-huh. We do that all of the time โ€” walk around setting up drug deals and tasting cocaine to impress people. Not! We're not saying he's guilty; we're just saying.
