It took over three hours to locate Andy after it was discovered that he was missing.

“I thought he was kidnapped,” said his mother, Maribel Martinez, 38. “I thought I would never see him again.”

And if matters couldn't get any worse, JetBlue staffers presented the wrong 5-year-old boy to Martinez as her son.

“No, this is not my child,” Martinez remembers telling employees.

According to the Daily News, the little boy they brought to Martinez was carrying Andy's passport and was supposed to be on the flight to Boston that Andy was on, but was mistakenly put on the flight to John F. Kennedy Airport in New York.

After JetBlue was able to track Andy down, he was placed on the next flight to JFK that same day.

"Mami, they put me on another plane," Andy told Martinez over the phone.

Martinez is taking legal action against JetBlue with the help of high-powered lawyer Sanford Rubenstein.

"This never should have happened, and the JetBlue employees should be ashamed of themselves," said Martinez.
