โTo them, to God, to a lot of great medical people, Iโm able to leave you this video,โ Foxx said.โI cannot tell you how great it feels to have your family kick in in such a way, and yโall know they kept it airtight โ they didnโt let nothing out, they protected me โ and thatโs what I hope that everyone could have in moments like these. But, Iโm coming back, and I am able to work.โ

In April, his daughter Corinne did say that her father fell very ill during production of an upcoming film โBack in Action.โ
In the Instagram video, Foxx describes his ordeal, by saying โI went through something I thought I would never, ever go through.โ
Just a day before, he posted an Instagram picture of himself sitting on a BETMGM gold race car and writing, โThankful for my @betmgm family and a great few nights in Vegas. We got BIG things coming soon,โ Foxx captioned.
In Saturdayโs video post, he said he isnโt โparalyzedโ or โblind,โ but described the medical ordeal as โhellish.โ

โI know a lot of people were waiting or wanting to hear an update, but to be honest with you, I didnโt want you to see me like that, man,โ he said. โI want you to see me laughing, having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie or a television show. I didnโt want you to see me with tubes running out of me and trying to figure out if I was going to make it through.โHe later says, โI just want to say I love everybody, and I love all the love that I got.โ
