Thatโ€™s what the beef between 50 Cent and Ja Rule feels like. The two have been feuding for so long that we often tend to forget why they donโ€™t like each other in the first place. Itโ€™s been more than 20 years and the rappers still canโ€™t stop talking about each other. Especially 50 (according to Ja Rule).

During a recent appearance on โ€œPiers Morgan Uncensored,โ€ the โ€œPain Is Loveโ€ rapper opened up about his history with 50. He even claimed that he beat his hip-hop rival in a fistfight.

When discussing the longevity of the feud, Ja said, โ€œIโ€™m cool Piers. I really donโ€™t do social media like that at allโ€ฆ But Iโ€™m really not the social media guy like that. So I donโ€™t really get into the back and forth with him.โ€

He later reiterated, โ€œYou never see me say anything about him. I just mind my business, do my businessโ€ฆ I donโ€™t do the back and forth.โ€

Piers even dared to ask who would win in a fight, which Ja Rule scoffed at, saying, โ€œThatโ€™s happened already too, Piers. You gotta do your research.โ€

When asked who won, Ja confidently said, โ€œI did, Piers.โ€

The fight J Rule is referring to is probably the one he wrote about in his 2014 book, โ€œUnruly: The Highs and Lows of Being a Man,โ€ where he said, โ€œ50 tried to swing on me, but I dipped, then I hit him with the baby Louisville Slugger. Bam! I dropped the bat. I pulled the shirt over his head. I started catching him left, right, uppercut.โ€

50 Cent has given zero credence to this claim and it hasnโ€™t stopped him from keeping Ja Ruleโ€™s name in his mouth over the years.

How did the beef between the two rappers start?

Both sides have different reasons for why this โ€œwarโ€ started. Ja says it was because he didnโ€™t include 50 Cent in the music video for the 1999 song, โ€œMurda 4 Life.โ€

However, 50 wrote in his 2005 book, โ€œFrom Pieces to Weight,โ€ that the beef started ย because a friend of his stole Jaโ€™s necklace in 1999.

Whatever the reason, itโ€™s clear that neither side is ever going to like the other for as long as theyโ€™re both around.
