The latest chapter in the drama is a video released Monday by TMZ, which they say captures Princess Kate and Prince William shopping at a farmerโ€™s market near their home. But while someone thought a grainy video of a smiling Kate would calm people down, it only got them riled TF up.

Take TikToker @kevonstage, who doesnโ€™t believe royals are out here doing their own shopping.

โ€œThey donโ€™t seem real just walking,โ€ he said. โ€œYaโ€™ll donโ€™t look like you ever bought a thing with yaโ€™ll own money. Do you know how to swipe a card or tap it?โ€

People in the comments couldnโ€™t help but chime in, questioning why no one is stopping to take pictures of Middleton (if itโ€™s really her), especially surrounding all of the controversy about her absence.

โ€œThatโ€™s mate kiddleton,โ€ joked one commenter.

Other amateur sleuths, like @talleyberrybaby question why the palace would release a casual โ€œdeep-fried videoโ€ rather than make Kateโ€™s appearance more of a press event.

โ€œIf today was the day that they were going to decide to show us that Kate Middleton was alive, it would have been an event. People would have been expected to be there,โ€ she said. โ€œShe just wouldnโ€™t have been TMZ casually videographered walking around the goddamn farmerโ€™s market.โ€

She was also swift enough to call out the fact that Kate is seen carrying bags in the video, a no-no for a patient post abdominal surgery and something she believes her royal husband should know.

โ€œYou mean to tell me, your woman just had a surgery that sheโ€™s recovering from...and you got her carrying groceries? You got her carrying the Piggly Wiggly bags? That donโ€™t make no sense to me,โ€ she wonders.

Others are alleging that TMZโ€™s video is actually from December, pointing out that the wooden booths behind the royal couple are only up in the area around the holidays.

โ€œim gonna need her to get on a live and hold up that dayโ€™s newspaper,โ€ wrote one commenter.

Whether the video is real or fake has yet to be determined. But weโ€™ll definitely keep watching these hilarious Black creators posts for updates.
