We already told you how Sherri’s own appearance in the audience of that 1990 foreshadowed her own daytime talk show success. So it was only fitting and only right for Queen O herself to return the favor and make an appearance on Sherri’s own show. And to top it all off? She passed the daytime talk show baton to Sherri and if that’s not one of the biggest career cosign’s you can get—I don’t know what is.

I know it’s once been said that all somebody wanted for Christmas was their two front teeth, but for a shocked Sherri—she got the gift of a lifetime when music legend and icon Janet Jackson herself stopped by her show. The move came as a complete surprise and brought the eponymous host to tears. (Same, Sherri, same.)
