After a shocking cardiac arrest episode during a preseason practice in July, Bronny James has been cleared to make a full return to basketball. Per The Athletic, James will start exercising with the Trojans next week.

Recently, Bronnyโs father LeBron James shared an update about his sonโs health. โBronny is doing extremely well. He has begun his rehab process to get back on the floor this season with his teammates at USC,โ he stated.
โThe successful surgery that he hadโฆHeโs on the up and up. Itโs definitely a whirlwind and a lot of emotions for our family this summer, but the best thing we have is each other.โ
On July 24, Bronny collapsed on the court during an on-campus workout. A congenital heart defect was identified as the probable reason for hisย cardiac arrest. He was treated by medical professionals and admitted to the ICU.
A James family spokesperson confirmed the incident and thanked hospital workers for support. โHe is now in stable condition and no longer in ICU,โ the statement read.
