Feldman, who earlier this week billed the event as one of the biggest celebrity boxing matches of all time, announced that he had picked DMX out of more than 15,000 match-up requests for the three-round, pay-per-view fight.

But sometimes common sense prevails. On Saturday, Feldman announced on Twitter that heโ€™d had a change of heart, saying, โ€œIt was my decision to cancel the george zimmerman fight it was worth a lot of money to me but people's feelings meant more to me.โ€ The move elicited positive responses in his Twitter feed. One of his followers, @ReignOfApril, wrote, "Thank you. A thousand times, thank you. This was the right decision."
