"This is the best Mother's Day ever. Very entertaining. [We got] good food and good entertainment," 14-year-old Sailyn Barlow, who was inside the Kiku Japanese restaurant when the brawl took place, told WSB-TV.

According to the news station, the fight broke out at Kiku Japanese in South Fulton County after an employee reportedly smiled at a fussy customer.

That was all it took for plates, trays and ice bucket to be thrown around the restaurant.

"I'm actually thinking it's very good stuff. I'm thinking, 'Wow, I’m going to get a lot of views on this. Wow, I can't believe it’s happening,' and 'Wow, I hope I don't get hit with something,' " Sailyn, who was at the restaurant with her family, told the news station.

Sailyn added that she and her family had to duck flying objects that were being tossed around the room.

Authorities told the news station that they are using video of the ruckus to try to identify those involved. Police added that all five people could face serious charges, including battery, theft of services and inciting.

No one was seriously injured in the fight. Sailyn's mother, Sherrae Barlow, told the news station that while the incident was scary, the family tried to have a good Mother's Day.

"We tried to make light of it so we could continue to enjoy the rest of our Mother's Day," Sherrae Barlow said.

Charlie Son, the restaurant's owner, told WSB-TV that he suffered around $5,000 in damages, not to mention the money from people who left without paying.

"He's very upset, very excited," Son said of the employee involved in the melee. "He cannot speak. I told him to calm down and take a rest."
