Weโre well aware that former President Donald Trump isnโt the most popular amongst Black Americans or Democrats, but some lines you just canโt cross.

In response to the attempted assassination of Trump during his Pennsylvania rally, resulting in two dead and several injured, Democrats and Republicans have overwhelmingly put their differences aside to condemn political violence and wish the former president a speedy recovery.
But one staffer for a Democratic congressman from Mississippi couldnโt help but express her distain for the former president. Immediately following the shooting, Jacqueline Marsaw took to her social media to write about her disappointment that the shooter, identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, missed his intended target.
On Facebook, Marsaw wrote โI donโt condone violence but please get you some shooting lessons so you donโt miss next time,โ according to the New York Post. In an attempt to hide her true feelingsโ but not very wellโ Marsaw concluded her post saying โooops that wasnโt me talking,โ but we all knew the truth.
In case one post wasnโt enough, Marsaw went on to call the incident โstaged,โ a sentiment felt amongst many social media users and even some politicians like Tenn. Sen. Antonio Parkinson.
In a final post, Marsaw suggested the attempt on Trumpโs life was karma for his past incendiary remarks: โThatโs what your hate speech got you!โ
Marsawโs karma came swiftly as all of her original posts have since been deleted as of Sunday morning. In a statement, Rep. Bennie Thompson said โI was made aware of a post made by a staff member and she is no longer in my employment,โ according to Fox News.
In contrast to his former employeeโs sentiments, Thompson tweeted โthere is no room in American democracy for political violence.โ
In her defense, Marsaw spoke out saying she โgot overwhelmed in the moment.โ The self proclaimed โdiehard Democratโ clearly let her political vigor take control, and because of it, she will be looking for a new job heading into the November election.
