One thing I love about the holidays is the opportunity for all of us to gather together and enjoy the spirit of the season. This is especially true when that gathering celebrates all of our accomplishments over the past year. The Root 100, now entering its 13th season, has traditionally shone a light on the best and brightest Black entertainers, artists, activists, sports figures, entrepreneurs, politicians and influencers who help shaped the culture that year. And we always do it up big!
