A creepy clown received a bad beating after he tried to scare a group of friends in their car, as reported by Daily Mail.

Video footage was released of the incident where the the clown approaches the car holding balloons.
One of the men in the car yells, "Get away!" at the clown, yet the clown continues to stand in the way of the car.
Within a few seconds after, two men can be seen getting out of the car and attacking the clown, one of which appears to have a baseball bat, and they proceed to beat the clown up and take his balloon before returning to the car.
This was one of the many clown sightings that have been occurring across the country. The sightings were first reported in South Carolina in August when there were police reports of clowns trying to lure kids into the woods.
According to Daily Mail, the White House commented on the recent phenomenon saying that the sinister sightings that have led to about a dozen arrests should be taken seriously and that the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security had been consulted on how to handle the scare.
The spooky sightings have recently led to create a hashtag #IfISeeAClown trending on Twitter.
