Boosie Badazz Is Already Out Here Begging Donald Trump For a Pardon

The controversial rapper wasted no time asking the president-elect for legal help.

Once Donald Trump won the 2024 presidential election, we knew it would only be a matter of time before the office once again became a beacon for chaos. Count rapper Boosie Badazz as one of the first celebrities to take advantage of the new crazy world weโ€™ll have to survive...again.

On Wednesday, he hopped on X to send a message asking the president-elect for help with his legal issues. As previously reported by The Root, back in July 2023, his federal gun possession charge was dismissed by a judge. However, two weeks later, he found himself with new charges, including โ€œpossession of a firearm and ammunition by a felon in interstate commerce and knowingly possessing a firearm while dealing with abuse of a controlled substance.โ€

With the possibility of a 10-year sentence looming, Boosie asked for a pardon from โ€œwhoever winsโ€ the presidential election. Now that thereโ€™s a winner, heโ€™s doubled down on his request.

โ€œ@realDonaldTrump CAN U PARDON ME ON MY FED CASE? iโ€™m a NON VIOLENT FELON,โ€ Boosie wrote. โ€œTHE COURTS RULED THAT a NON VIOLENT CANNOT BE CHARGED WITH A 922g .THE JUDGE DISMISSED MY CASE BUT THE RULING HAS BEEN APPEALED!! SO ONCE AGAIN I WAS INDICTED IM FIGHTING THIS CASE!! THIS IS THE EXACT CASE to US VS DUARTE THAT WAS RULED UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!โ€

After his personal plea, Boosie continued his post by appealing to Trumpโ€™s belief that heโ€™s a smart policy maker. The rapper wants to discuss police immunity with him, a conversation weโ€™re sure weโ€™ll yield meaningful change.

โ€œoh one more thing can u sit down with me n talk about U GIVING POLICE immunity,โ€ he continued. โ€œI THINK THIS WILL MOTIVATE OFFICERS TO COMMIT DEADLY CRIMES. PLEASE DONT DO THIS. anyway congratulations on your win LETS GET THIS MONEY N DROP THESE TAXES. shit killing me.โ€

We know the word โ€œnormalโ€ doesnโ€™t apply to a Trump presidency, so Boosie is probably just the first in what will be a long line of public figures who use social media to connect with the MAGA leader and play on his love of attention for personal gain.
