The man was searched and was found to have a loaded gun, marijuana and cocaine on him. Now Baltimore police suspect that BGF members are purposely trying to get arrested in order to scope out the security procedures in police precincts.

The Baltimore Police Department sent a bulletin to the NYPD and other police departments warning them of BGFโ€™s alleged strategy of instructing its members to โ€œget caught with a gun and drugsโ€ as a โ€œpossible security procedures test,โ€ the Daily News reports.

The NYPD has, in turn, warned all of its precincts to be extra vigilant about the possibility of such individuals โ€œplanning to walk into precincts armed with a weapon,โ€ with the intention of being arrested.

On Dec. 20, crazed gunman Ismaaiyl Brinsley fatally shot New York police officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos.
