The Indy Star reports that Cromartie has not expressed his wife's feelings publicly. The Colts declined comment Thursday. Some believe that Cromartie's football play was the reason he was let go, since he was benched Oct. 2 for dismal play against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Indy Star adds that the Colts were welcoming back two veteran cornerbacks, Patrick Robinson and Darius Butler, returning from injuries, which would have left Cromartie on the bench.
