Outside of hearing an AI version of his voice on Drakeโs โTaylor-Made Freestyleโ diss towards Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg has been relatively quiet when it comes to the feud between the two rappers. Until now.

While he didnโt take sides or choose a winner, in a new interview with โEntertainment Tonight,โ he credited both rappers for โraising the barโ as it relates to putting out real music with impressive lyricism and production. He also said both heavyweights have upped the ante for fellow artists to where they can no longer skirt by doing โmumble rap.โ
โThe only thing I want to say about that whole scenario is that I want to give both of them a shout-out for raising the bar as far as lyrics, as far as song-making and writing,โ the โGin and Juiceโ rapper explained. โBecause the writing has been upped since the confrontation or whatever you call it, whatever they went through.โ
He went on to share:
โThose are my nephews. Iโm not in the middle of it. I support both of them and thatโs personal business, not my business. As far as what they did for the industry and the rap game, they made you rap again. You canโt mumble your way and gimmick your way to a song no more, buddy. So, thank yโall.โ
The beef between Kung-Fu Kenny and Drizzy Drake definitely seems to be quieted down, even though Drake attempted to address MetroBoominโs diss just last week with his verse on Sexxy Redโs recently released single โU My Everything.โ
Though, with โBBL Drizzyโ and โThey Not Like Usโ still getting radioplay and popping up all over social media videos, there was really no need for him to egg this thing on any further.
