It’s been four years since we lost the three-time Grammy Award winner, Bill Withers. The singer-songwriter was famous for his timeless hits like “Ain’t No Sunshine” and “Lovely Day,” and up until the end of his life, Withers was able to enjoy the fruits of his musical successes comfortably in his Hollywood Hills home.

He originally purchased the three-story house in 1998 for only $714,ooo, according to the Daily Mail. Two decades later in 2019, Withers sold it for almost four times the original price at a whopping $2.835 million, months before he died from heart complications. With a built-in recording studio and breathtaking views of the city, it’s clear Withers had wonderful arrangements during his 21-year stay.
Now, the house has been sold to the same company that famously bought Kanye West’s Malibu Mansion, according to TMZ. So, let’s take a look at the home where the 1970s musical legend spent his last days.
