Minneapolis police arrested three white men Tuesday in connection with a Monday-night shooting that left five Black Lives Matter protesters wounded.

According to the New York Daily News, police arrested a 23-year-old man in Bloomington, a suburb outside Minneapolis, around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. A 26-year-old man and a 21-year-old man turned themselves in around 2:30 p.m. the same day, according to the Minneapolis Police Department, the Daily News reports. Police have not released the suspects’ names.
Police arrested a fourth man, but he was released shortly after being questioned, and investigators don’t believe that he was involved in the shooting.
Black Lives Matter representative Miski Noor told the Minneapolis Star-Tribune that three white men were antagonizing a group of protesters gathered outside the Minneapolis Police Department’s 4th Precinct station. Demonstrators have been gathered outside the precinct to demand justice for Jamar Clark, who was reportedly shot while in handcuffs by a police officer Nov. 15. Clark died days later at a local hospital from injuries suffered in the shooting.
Noor told the Star-Tribune that the men antagonizing the protesters used the “n-word” and that one of the men was wearing a mask.
Police have not released a motive for the shooting of the protesters, but the Minneapolis chapter of Black Lives Matter has called the incident “white supremacist terrorism,” the Daily News reports.
