A second schoolgirl who was among the more than 200 girls kidnapped two years ago from their school in Chibok, Nigeria, by the terrorist group Boko Haram has been rescued, a spokesman for the Nigerian army said Thursday.

According to the news site, Serah Luka, who had only arrived at the school a few months before she was abducted, was found among a group of 97 women and girls rescued by Nigerian troops Thursday morning. The news comes just two days after another of the Chibok schoolgirls, Amina Ali Darsha Nkeki, was rescued.
"We are glad to state that among those rescued is a girl believed to be one of the Chibok Government Secondary School girls that were abducted," army spokesman Sani Usman said in an emailed statement viewed by the BBC.
Usman said that Luka was receiving medical treatment and that Nigerian army officials are investigating whether some other girls who fled before Thursday's rescue are also abducted Chibok schoolgirls.
